Questions
Who does the test? A certified backflow assembly tester licensed in BC; the confirmation carries their name and certification number.
What if the device fails? You'll have the report the same day and the tester's quote for the repair; the CRD requires failed devices to be reported through its portal within 14 days — the tester files that with their own portal account, and we keep the record and tell you when it is in.
Where does the report go? To your water authority, by the route it takes. Where an authority requires its own vendor portal (Vancouver, Delta, White Rock, Surrey, Regional District of North Okanagan), the tester submits it there and we keep the record and send you the confirmation.
Will you call me? No. Everything is in writing: the confirmation, the tester's name and window, and afterwards the filed report and its verify link.
