Filing a backflow test report to the City of Richmond

Where it goes

A City-issued decal must be affixed to the paper report before it is submitted.

How often, and by when

Annually. Not stated in the bylaw — confirm with the authority. We would rather tell you we did not find one than invent a number you might plan around.

Worth knowing

$29.00 per report for the 2026 decal, plus 2% if you pay by card, and a Richmond business licence is required to buy decals at all. A PDF cannot carry a physical sticker: this is not a fee we can absorb, it is a paper step.
