Your clients reminded when their backflow test is due, and booked with you
Send me 3 sample reminders in my firm's name
Within the hour: your clients due in the next 90 days and three reminders in your firm's name. Nothing goes to a client until you press Start.
How it works
- Reply to Ethan's email with your client list, in any format: a spreadsheet, an export from your software, or a photo of your book.
- We send you a preview of three reminders, written in your firm's name, before anything goes out.
- You approve. Each client gets a reminder when their test comes due, and a second one a week later if they haven't booked.
- A client picks a time on a page with your name on it. You get the booking by email, with their address and their assembly.
- We charge C$15 for each retest booked that way. A reminder that books nothing costs nothing.
For comparison, a booked job from Google's Local Services ads costs a US contractor about US$170 (US data, Searchlight Digital).

What the reminders could be worth
That is about 40 clients a year who don't come back unless someone asks them.
| If they book | Tests | Your revenue | Our fees |
|---|---|---|---|
| A quarter | 10 | C$950 | C$150 |
| Half | 20 | C$1,900 | C$300 |
An illustration from your own numbers, not a promise of how many will book.

Questions testers ask
- Is this allowed under CASL? CASL lets a business email clients it has done business with in the past two years (an existing business relationship). Every reminder names your firm and how to reach you, and carries an unsubscribe that is honoured at once.
- And in the US? CAN-SPAM asks for your name, a postal address and a working unsubscribe in each email; every reminder carries all three.
- Who do replies go to? To you. A client who replies to a reminder is writing to your address, not ours.
- What if a client books someone else? Nothing is charged. We charge only for a retest booked through your link.
- Can I see every reminder first? Yes. Nothing goes out until you have approved the preview, and you can change the wording.
- How do I stop? Reply "stop". Reminders stop that day, and we delete your list on request.
