Chilliwack backflow test deadline
Within 30 days of the test. That is the City of Chilliwack's rule, quoted below from its own bylaw. Put in your building and your date, and you get the day it is due.
The rule, in the City of Chilliwack's words
“submit a report on a form approved by the Engineer from a Backflow Prevention Device Tester upon installation of the Backflow Prevention Device and thereafter annually within 30-days of such test on any or all tests performed complete with a copy of the Tester’s certificate.”

Worth knowing: A copy of the tester’s certificate must travel with every filing.
What happens next
- Check your date above. The answer appears on this page straight away: the day your report is due, or which date we still need.
- If you leave your email (and tick “I would like a quote” if you want a price), a person replies in writing, usually the same day. Nothing is charged and nobody calls.
- A certified tester tests every device on the notice, annually.
- The report reaches the City of Chilliwack inside the window. Reports go to operations@chilliwack.com. Keep the confirmation, not only your sent copy.
