Pitt Meadows backflow test deadline
Within 30 days of the test. That is the City of Pitt Meadows's rule, quoted below from its own bylaw. Put in your building and your date, and you get the day it is due.

“submit a report on a form approved by the City, from the Certified Backflow Preventer Tester, within 30 days of tests required in this section, or any other test undertaken, complete with a copy of the tester’s certificate.”

Worth knowing: A copy of the tester’s certificate must travel with every filing (s.25.2(e)). The Building Division, not a water department, runs the programme, and it may reject a report for errors or omissions (Policy C022 s.4.2(3)(b)). No filing fee appears in the bylaw’s fee schedules.
What happens next

- If you leave your email (and tick “I would like a quote” if you want a price), a person replies in writing, usually the same day. Nothing is charged and nobody calls.
- A certified tester tests every device on the notice, annually, and on installation.
