Worth knowing: A copy of the tester’s certificate must travel with every filing (s.25.2(e)). The Building Division, not a water department, runs the programme, and it may reject a report for errors or omissions (Policy C022 s.4.2(3)(b)). No filing fee appears in the bylaw’s fee schedules.

What to do, in order

Find the date that starts the clock: the day of the test. The clock does not start until the test is done.
Book a certified backflow tester for every device listed on the notice.
Make sure the tester's report reaches City of Pitt Meadows (building@pittmeadows.ca) inside the window. Keep a copy.
