My backflow test notice from Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen: what do I do, and by when?

The rule

Worth knowing: Reports go to MTS Inc. (reception@mtsinc.ca), the Regional District's agent, or through FAST. Seasonal irrigation reports are due 14 days after turn-on (s.8.1(f)).

What to do, in order

  1. Find the date that starts the clock: the day of the test. The clock does not start until the test is done.
  2. Book a certified backflow tester for every device listed on the notice.
  3. Make sure the tester's report reaches Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen inside the window. Keep a copy.
