A test, end to end

Add the customer and the site. Or skip it — you can add a site the first time you test there.
Add the device. Make, model, serial, size, type and where it is in the building. That is what prints on the form.
Start the test and enter the readings. Pass or fail is checked against the form's own thresholds as you type, so you find out in the mechanical room, not afterwards.
Sign and complete. The report renders on the authority's layout, and the tag renders as a 4-up sheet.
Send it. Sending is a button, never automatic — the screen names every recipient, and every one it did not send to, with the reason.

What the deadlines on a job mean

35 days from the notice (s.7.2). The report must be submitted and received by the Cross Connection Control Officer within 35 calendar days of the notice to test — not of your test. Testing on day 34 and filing on day 36 is late.

14 days for a failed device (s.7.3). A failure goes through the CRD's CCC Portal, not by email. You make that submission; we put the clock on the job and have the values ready.

30 days to repair, retest and notify (s.7.4). All three inside the window, not just the repair.

45 days past the deadline (s.28.3(a)). The assembly can be deemed defective and the purveyor can act on that.

Why the app stopped you

Your gauge calibration is out of date. s.26.5 requires test equipment calibrated at least every 12 months. The app warns you before you drive out rather than at completion, when the work is already done.

Your certificate or registration has expired. s.26.1(a) and s.26.2. Update the dates in settings.

Things that are not built yet

We would rather you read this here than discover it on a job. Opening the app with no signal (details), a self-serve data export, a second tester on one account, and sending the authority's copy for you. The questions page says where each one stands.
