Portland backflow test deadline
Within 10 business days of the test. That is Portland Water Bureau's rule (Oregon), quoted below from its own documents. We do not file there; this is the rule, so you can date your buildings against it.

“Your tester will submit a backflow test report to the Water Bureau within 10 business days.”

“The Backflow Assembly Tester must produce three copies of all test reports. … (a) Test reports must be provided within 10 working days”

Where it goes: The tester emails the completed PDF test report to the Water Bureau, or posts it.
How often: At least once a year.
What happens next
- Have each device tested by a tester certified where the building is, at least once a year.
- Get the report to Portland Water Bureau inside the window — reports go to backflow@portlandoregon.gov. Keep the confirmation.
