Tacoma backflow test deadline
Within 15 days of completion of the test, per Tacoma Water's own guideline. That is Tacoma Water's rule (Washington), quoted below from its own documents. We do not file there; this is the rule, so you can date your buildings against it.

“2. All test reports must be submitted to Tacoma Water within 15 days of completion.”

Where it goes: By email, mail or fax to Tacoma Water's Water Quality section; the current test report form gives backflow@tacoma.gov.
How often: Annually, by the due date Tacoma Water assigns to each assembly.
Worth knowing: A utility guideline, not the municipal code; the form and TMC 12.10.220 defer to it. The guideline gives backflow@cityoftacoma.org, the current form backflow@tacoma.gov.
What happens next
- Have each device tested by a tester certified where the building is, annually, by the due date Tacoma Water assigns to each assembly.
- Get the report to Tacoma Water inside the window — reports go to backflow@tacoma.gov. Keep the confirmation.
