Toronto backflow test deadline
Within 7 days of the test. That is City of Toronto's rule (Ontario), quoted below from its own documents. We do not file there; this is the rule, so you can date your buildings against it.
The rule, in City of Toronto's words
“Every owner shall submit a complete report, on the prescribed City form, to the General Manager in respect of any tests performed on a backflow prevention device within seven days of the performance of the test.”

Where it goes: A certified cross connection control specialist reports the test on the City's online test report form.
How often: Annually.
Worth knowing: The seven-day duty sits on the owner, in so many words.
What happens next
- Have each device tested by a tester certified where the building is, annually.
