My backflow test notice from City of Prince George: what do I do, and by when?
Get each device on the notice tested by a certified tester, and make sure the report reaches City of Prince George within 30 days of the day of the test. That is the whole duty, and it is the property owner's, not the plumber's.

Worth knowing: The form linked from the City's water page (January 2024) prints its intake email correctly; it is a named staff member's address, so we do not reproduce it here — it is on the form.
What to do, in order
- Find the date that starts the clock: the day of the test. The clock does not start until the test is done.
- Book a certified backflow tester for every device listed on the notice.
- Make sure the tester's report reaches City of Prince George inside the window. Keep a copy.
