My backflow test notice from Sunshine Coast Regional District: what do I do, and by when?

Within 30 days of the test. In the Sunshine Coast Regional District's own words:

“A copy of the test report shall be provided to the Regional District Water Authority within thirty (30) days of completion of the test.”

Worth knowing: The Regional District supplies water to Sechelt and to the coast from Langdale to Earl's Cove, so Sechelt properties fall under this bylaw.

What to do, in order

Find the date that starts the clock: the day of the test. The clock does not start until the test is done.
Book a certified backflow tester for every device listed on the notice (once in each 12-month period, and before each irrigation season for agricultural systems).
Make sure the tester's report reaches Sunshine Coast Regional District inside the window. The Sunshine Coast Regional District publishes no intake address we have been able to read; your tester or the notice will say where the report goes. Keep the confirmation, not only your sent copy.
