A report due this week? Rush it.

How it works

1. Before 2 p.m. Pacific on a business day, email the photo or PDF with “rush” in the subject. Later than that, it comes back the next business morning.
2. The same business day, you get the authority's own form filled from your readings, with anything unclear asked as a question rather than guessed.
3. You approve it with one tap. Nothing is sent before you do, and the report stays yours: you are the certified tester of record.
4. It goes where the authority takes reports. Where that is a published email address, it is sent there with the receipt on the thread and the owner's copy at the same time. Where the authority requires a portal, you get the finished PDF to upload yourself.

What it costs

C$29 a rush report, charged only when you approve it. A report you don't approve costs nothing. Rush is separate from the ordinary route, which stays first five free, then C$7. Canada only.

The windows this is for

BC authorities whose report window from the test is 15 days or less, in their own words:

• Penticton — Within 48 hours (2 days) of the test (portal: you upload the finished PDF)
• Regional District of North Okanagan — Within 3 business days of the test (portal: you upload the finished PDF)
• Burnaby — Within 10 days of the test, as the City's test report form instructs
• Coquitlam — Within 10 days of the test, as the City's test report form instructs
• New Westminster — Within 15 days of the test, as the City's form instructs (portal: you upload the finished PDF)
• Vancouver — Within 15 days of the test (portal: you upload the finished PDF)

Every other verified deadline is on the BC deadline guide. The date on the notice always overrides it.
